This is the
Neve 8078 from Sony Music Studios Santa Monica that I supervised
rebuilding with the assistance of Geoff Tanner from Phoenix Audio. We
spent 4 months going through this entire board and we found several
design flaws that we were able to correct, thus improving the sound
of the board. |
This is the
custom producers desk with 16 API EQ's, 8 API Preamps, Surround
monitoring, Lynx control, transport control, and 2 track matrix. The
EQ section feature custom Phoenix Audio balanced input/output stage
for full +26dbu operation. |
This is the
custom mastering desk at Sony Santa Monica that I designed in
conjunction with "Bugs" Pemberton from Matchless
Woodworking. It features custom electronics from Steve Firlotte at
Inward Connections as well as processing by Weiss, GML, Sontec, Tube
Tech, and Massalec. |

A fine example
of a great Project Studio. This was my personal production studio
built with my late great songwriting partner Tim Carroll. The console
is a Soundcraft Series III once owned by Bruce Swedein.
